SUPERVISION WITH DR. EVAN THOMAS, PHD, LMFTS, AAMFT-APPROVED SUPERVISOR
The path from LMFTA to full licensure is one of the most formative chapters of your clinical career. Who supervises you during that time matters — not just for meeting the SC LLR's requirements, but for the kind of therapist you'll become.
My supervision is inclusive and affirming. Whether you're working with queer and trans clients, families navigating substance use, or couples in conflict, I'll meet you where you are and help you grow from there.
WHAT TO EXPECT: The style I draw from a mix of postmodern and directive approaches in supervision — which means I'll ask what you need at the start of each session and adapt from there. Some weeks call for collaborative reflection; others call for direct clinical guidance. You'll get both.
